TEMPLATE / FIELD NOTES

Make it
your own.

A practical guide to the content, components and motion that make NUVREN work.

01 / CONTENT

Two collections. Room to grow.

Projects powers the project archive and case study pages. Add a name, slug, summary, cover image and alt text, then fill in the client, year, discipline, services and case study sections. Sort Order controls the archive sequence; the first project takes the full-width position.

Articles powers the journal and article pages. Add the title, excerpt, image, category, author, publication date, reading time and rich text body. The latest article becomes the featured story; the remaining articles appear below it. Each article also shows the two newest other articles, automatically excluding the current story.

The homepage uses a curated selection of three project compositions. Edit these cards directly when changing the studio’s featured work, including their links and image descriptions.

02 / FOUNDATIONS

One shared visual language.

NUVREN Navigation and NUVREN Footer are shared Webflow components. Enter the main component to update navigation, logo or utility links across the site. The mobile navigation uses an accessible disclosure menu.

Space Grotesk carries the interface and body copy. Instrument Serif adds the editorial accent. The palette combines ivory, ink, muted sage and acid yellow. Use the Style Guide when adding new sections.

03 / MOTION

Native GSAP, editable in Webflow.

Open the Interactions panel to edit the NUVREN animations. All motion is built with Webflow’s new Interactions powered by GSAP. No external animation script needs to be maintained.

  • Home editorial entrance: staggered headline, image and supporting copy on page load.
  • Editorial page titles: masked line reveals on interior pages, around one second.
  • Scroll reveal: elements marked data-reveal rise 40 pixels and fade in when entering the reading area.
  • Sculptural parallax: a restrained scroll-driven drift on the homepage artwork.
  • Project & article image hover: images gently zoom in and return on pointer exit.
  • Directional buttons: a small lift gives links a tactile response.
  • Footer signature: the large wordmark rises into view.
  • Mobile menu rhythm: navigation links arrive in a short stagger.

Keep the class names and data-reveal / data-page-title attributes when replacing elements that should retain their motion. Preview after changes. Reduced-motion preferences skip reveals or disable continuous and hover effects; parallax and hover are disabled on the mobile breakpoints.

04 / MAKE IT YOURS

Replace the demonstration content.

The studio, projects, stories and contact email are fictional examples. Replace hello@nuvren.studio, studio details and imagery with your own. Set the form’s notification recipient in your site settings before launching. The form is named Project Enquiry and includes custom success and error messages.

Replace SVG logos and decorative graphics through the Assets panel using the same proportions. These are image assets, so no embedded SVG code needs editing. Keep useful alt descriptions for content images and empty alt text for purely decorative marks.

05 / BEFORE LAUNCH

Give every detail a final look.

Review desktop, tablet and phone layouts, CMS item links, form behaviour, page titles, descriptions and social sharing images. Publish to your Webflow staging domain for a final review before connecting your domain.

If you plan to submit a template to the Marketplace, follow Webflow’s current submission checklist and complete its required validator and quality review.

Motion edition — how to edit

All animation is built in Webflow Interactions powered by GSAP. No custom JavaScript is required. Open the Interactions panel and search for NUVREN.

Form study

“Hero — uncover the work” lifts and gently turns .hero-art while the headline layers move apart. The ivory .fm-hero-cover withdraws to reveal the actual Selected Work section beneath it. “Hero — progressive cover layout” adds .fm-cover-overlap to .practice-strip only on desktop with motion enabled; keep this class available for the native interaction. Mobile, tablet and reduced-motion visitors retain normal document flow. .fm-hero-stage stays sticky inside .home-hero on desktop. Keep the ivory color on .fm-hero-cover, rather than the transparent stage, so Difference-blended type remains legible. “Form study — spatial pointer” adds subtle Mouse X/Y depth to .fm-art-depth and .fm-probe. Replace the image inside the depth wrapper without renaming these classes.

Portfolio plates

.fm-work-stack contains three .fm-stack-card wrappers with data-case values 01, 02 and 03. Each contains a complete project link. “Portfolio — plate 02” and “plate 03” gently scale and rotate the preceding plate as the next arrives. To reorder projects, move the complete link into another numbered wrapper. Keep the numbered wrappers in order. To add more plates, duplicate a wrapper and its interaction, then update both selectors.

The form engine

“Process — the form engine” uses one scroll timeline for three editable ellipse layers and a central circle. Edit the layers in .fm-process-stage to change the composition. The chapter copy remains ordinary text in .process-grid.

Responsive behavior and reduced motion

The hero scroll scene, spatial pointer, portfolio transforms, form engine and magnetic project discs are disabled at tablet and mobile breakpoints. Project plates become a normal vertical list. Decorative pointer discs are hidden. Every GSAP interaction respects reduced-motion preferences. The mobile navigation is a native Webflow Navbar with its built-in duration set to 0; GSAP handles the panel and link entrance. Escape and the toggle close the menu. Change global links inside the NUVREN Navigation component.

Adjust or remove an effect

Duplicate an interaction before experimenting. Edit duration, easing or its first and last transform keyframes, then preview desktop and mobile. Scroll timelines map their full timeline to the Start and End positions. Remove the interaction to keep the static composition; for a plain project list, also set .fm-stack-card to Position: Relative and Top: 0. For a static process diagram, do the same on .fm-process-stage. Republish and test the live page.

Page and section library

Services includes a service index, detailed deliverables, engagement models and frequently asked questions. Studio includes a visual introduction, principles, team roles and collaboration approach. Replace the example roles with your own team structure.

NUVREN Ways To Work and NUVREN Frequently Asked Questions are reusable components. Insert them from the Components panel, then edit the exposed content props for that instance. Update their main component to change structure across all instances. FAQ uses native details and summary elements, so it also works with a keyboard and without animation.

Projects now includes Deliverables and Credits fields. Enter one item per line; line breaks are preserved on project pages. Articles includes Author Bio, displayed below the article with the Author field. Replace all concept work and example biographies before launching a real studio.

The Contact brief checklist helps visitors prepare their enquiry. The Blog practice section and homepage Studio Notes section connect editorial content to services and work. These sections can be duplicated or removed to fit your business. Check mobile spacing and heading order after reorganising a page.
